BuddyTV reports that Kristin will be appearing in five episodes in the upcoming season 8 of Smallville. The new producers have told viewers to expect a different looking Lana Lang in visual terms (new haircut anyone?).  They get into more detail in the article which you can check out if you want to get some insight into what's going on with her character or just wait until the new season starts to find out.

Season 8 of Smallville starts on September 18, 2008.

If anything calls for an OMG, this is it. Kristin has a new haircut! Working on Smallville regularly didn't allow her to make a significant hairstyle alteration. Well, now that she's making a handful of appearances in season 8, she's free to make a change. I must say the new look is fun, breezy and perfect for summertime. Looking good Kristin!

It wouldn't be a convention without some famous people and a ton of free schwag, and the Capcom booth will be delivering on both fronts! Kristin Kreuk, star of Smallville and the upcoming Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, will be gracing the Capcom booth with her presence, along with Udon artists Adam Hughes and J. Scott Campbell
